Bank's Achievements
  • The Vishweshwar Sahakari Bank ltd., Pune is a leading multi state urban co-op Bank in Pune District.

  • This bank, established in 1972 has achieved a scintillating progress in all aspects of banking and is marching ahead to become most ideal bank in Maharashtra

  • As on 31.03.2011 with deposits of 717.53 Crore and advances of 427.76 Crore, total business of the bank has grown to 1145.29 Crore.

  • The Banks paid up capital as on 31.03.2011 is 23.33 Crore.

  • The bank has successfully implemented Core Banking Solution Project, viz 'Vishweshwar Infra IT Project ( VIP )', Facilities such as Grahak Samvad Kaksha (Customer Care Center) and Any Branch Banking have already been put in place.

  • In the first phase, the bank has provided ATM facility at its 10 branches with BANCS network facility with 7500 ATM's all over India. This facility will be provided at all our branches in due course of time.

  • Adopting innovative techniques, the bank has achieved commendable success in recovery of overdues. Net NPA position of the bank as on 31-03.2011 is 0%. The target of the bank is to make entire bank 'A Non NPA Bank' by March 2012.

  • Per employee business of the bank as on 31.03.2011 is 4.27 Crore which is regarded as idealistic in banking industry.

  • The capital adequacy ratio of the bank is more than 14.00 % and the bank is trying to enhance it further. This reveals strong capital base of the bank.

  • The bank is committed to provide safety of funds to depositors, to provide required bank finance to needy borrowers & to keep human touch in recovery.

  • Recently bank has started various services viz. RTGS/NEFT, PAN Card Services, Tax payment Services and Life Insurance coverage services in collaboration with Max New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd.
